What’s New?

Things that are new:

The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The movie had record numbers this weekend. How many of you got to see it opening weekend?

Demon King by Cinda Chima-Williams is the first in a new series by the author who wrote Warrior Heir, Wizard Heir, and Dragon Heir. I can’t wait to read this one!

The Splendor Falls by Rosemary Clement-Moore, the author who gave us the Maggie Quinn Girl vs Evil series. This book introduces a new heroine who is just as tough and clever as Maggie. This historical, paranormal romance sure to please.

These are just 2 of the many many many new books available in the Teen room.

Now, this is something new to me-comics online.  The Dreamer is a webcomic (now available in print too) by Lora Innes. A more detailed synopsis of the story that can be found on her website, but the short version is Bea, a popular high school senior, starts having vivid dreams about a handsome Revolutionary War soldier. Her dreams are full of danger, romance, and adventure. When she discovers that she is dreaming about real past events and people she needs to figure out what is happening to her.  What a combo: comics, history, paranormal. Win!
